The Skinny on Outhouses
The big field has caused us to augment our normal service level, and that includes dealing with . . . well, you know. We'll have more outhouses this year! Good news for all runners.
Expanded Bus Service This Year
Due to the huge increase in the Equinox field, we have added bus service to the traditional Ester Dome summit shuttle. Here's the scoop.
Think Twice About Your Support Crew and Strategy
If you have a support crew helping you out on Saturday, think long and hard about THEIR strategy. Keep in mind that our marathon field has increased by almost 50% from last year, and our relay field has increased by more than 10% from last year.
The Relay Field Is Full!!!!!
The relay field is full. We are accepting no more teams in the relay.
However, there are still individuals who have been listed as members of relay teams who have not yet entered. Those runners MUST enter and pay their registration fee before they can pick up their bibs, shirts, goodie bags, etc. Regardless of when their team was entered, they will pay the going rate. If they register by 5PM Wednesday it’s $50 for online registration and $60 for hard copy registration. If they enter at bib pickup it’s $70. If they enter on race day it’s $100.
The moral to the story is clear. Act now!
Bib Pickup at the Pump House Thursday and Friday
Equinox Marathon, Ultramarathon and Relay bib pickup will take place at the Pump House Restaurant on Chena Pump Road on Thursday, September 13 and Friday, September 14, from 5PM to 8PM.
Attention Life Members and Past Champions
If you are a life member or a past champion who is planning to participate in this year’s Equinox Marathon, do yourself a favor, and do us one too – register online before 5PM on Wednesday when online registration shuts down. There is no cost to you, and your life, and ours, will be a whole lot easier if you take care of this before bib pickup on Thursday and Friday. Thanks for your assistance.
