The word "Ullrhavn" refers to the first summit that you reach on Ester Dome, at 12.4 miles into the course. In the early days of the marathon there was a lodge called "Ullrhavn" located on that summit. The lodge was connected with a ski area that used to operate on the north-facing slopes of Ester Dome.
