Equinox Course Changes for 2013
For the 2013 race there will be some changes to the Marathon/Ultramarathon course on the summit of Ester Dome. At this point we do not know what those changes will be, but there will be some changes. We are working as rapidly as possible to find solutions to the issues that have arisen, but it could be that we will be working on those modifications up until the last few days before the race.
We wish these last-minute changes were NOT necessary, but recent events beyond our control have dictated this, therefore we must do a bit of scrambling on short notice. It's not the way we would prefer to conduct business, but we don't have any choice in the matter.
Rest assured that we will inform all participants at the earliest possible date as to what the changes will be, and we will make sure that we mark the changed areas especially clearly to prevent any confusion. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional images are available. You can thank Kristen Bartecchi for recording the route data that is plotted on these images. She did so during a training run in 2007.
