Relay Schedule

Here is the Shuttle Bus and Van Service Schedule:

Relay Runner/Leg #2

Buses are provided by BIG STATE WILDFIRE LLC and leave campus at 8:15AM.

Two buses are available

Leg #2 runners have boarding priority on the 8:15am bus

Leg # 2 runners will be dropped off at Anne’s Greenhouse and walk ¼ mile to exchange zone at Goldstream Sports.

Leg #3 Runners will be dropped at the intersection of Ester Dome Road and Henderson Road. Bring clothes to keep warm while waiting.

Two buses will run a loop from UAF, Ann’s Greenhouse, and Henderson until 3pm.

There will be no buses going to the top of Ester Dome. Leg #3 runners will need to transfer onto a van at the intersection of Ester Dome Road and Henderson Road. Leg #1 runners can take the bus back to campus.

All Leg #2 and Leg #3 runners are encouraged to use the buses and vans. NO CARS (except for residents) WILL BE ALLOWED PAST HENDERSON ROAD. From the upper end of Henderson Road it is more than 1.5 miles to relay exchange 2 – at least a 25-30 minute walk. PLAN AHEAD!

Spectators and race crews may board a shuttle bus/van, BUT ONLY AFTER all relay runners needing a ride from that pickup point have been seated on the bus/van.

Relay Runner Leg # 3

Vans are provided by Airlink Shuttle and Tours

Two to three vans are available.

Leg #3 will board a bus from campus and be brought to the second stop at the intersection of Ester Dome Road and Henderson Road.

Leg # 3 runners will board a 15 passenger van from this intersection to the top of Ester Dome to the relay exchange zone. Please bring clothes to keep warm while waiting.

Vans will only be doing the Henderson/Top of Dome Loop until 3pm.

Leg #2 runners (once finished) can take a van back to the intersection and then take a bus back to UAF campus.

Report Trail Issues!

Running Club North and our volunteers work hard year round to maintain the Equinox course in world-class condition. If you’re out on the course and find a problem, please let us know, any time of the year!

You can use the form on the Report Trail Issues page to send us a report. Include as much detailed information as you can so we can find the problem and know what we need to take with us to resolve it.

Bib Pick-up

You will have 3 opportunities to pick-up your bib:

  • Thursday, September 13th 5:00pm-8:00PM at UAF Upper Level of the Ice Arena
  • Friday, September 14th 5:00PM-8:00PM at UAF Upper Level of the Ice Arena
  • Saturday, September 15th 7:00AM at the UAF Student Recreation Center
