Greetings racers! The 63rd running of the Equinox Marathon & Relay is almost here and excitement (and currently no rain) is in the air!
This email includes final details. You can also get additional info at bib pickup on Friday from 4-7 p.m.

– Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Beaver Sports for all racers
– Saturday from 7-7:50 a.m. for Marathon-only (and no race-registration possible Saturday) - LIVE TIMING & RESULTS

7 a.m. – UAF SRC opens
7:30-7:40 a.m. – Pre-race briefing, SRC
7:00-7:50 a.m. – Final Bib Pickup for MARATHON ONLY
8 a.m. – MASS START
10:45(ish) a.m. – First finishers expected
11 a.m. – Finish food available (racers and volunteers only)
1 p.m. – Brief outdoor awards ceremony for podium winners
11 a.m. – 7 p.m. – Free showers at Patty Center locker rooms (basement)
6 p.m. – Cutoff for official finish and finish teardown begins
5:30 p.m. – Doors for awards ceremony/dinner opens (SRC gym). 6:15 p.m. – Awards begin
8 p.m. – FREE CONCERT, the Casey Smith Project (SRC gym)! - PARKING
– Start/finish – free parking is available in any of the nearby lots including the gravel lots across the road. Try not to park on the shoulder of Tanana Loop East to keep us in good graces with the DOT!
– Goldstream Sports – free parking available at the lot across the road and at Ann’s Greenhouse. Please do not park directly at Goldstream Sports and try not to park on the shoulder of Sheep Creep Road or definitely not on Ester Dome Rd!
– Ester Dome – limited parking available at the junction of Ester Dome & Henderson Road for those who wish to walk or bike to the top; only race officials and locals are allowed to drive beyond that spot on race day. - SHUTTLES

– 8:00-8:30 a.m. – 2 buses and 1 van from Patty Center to Goldstream Sports for Leg 2 and Leg 3 relay runners
– Beginning at 9 a.m. – 1 van (look for sign) will transport Leg 1 relay runners only back to Patty Center
– Beginning at 9:10 a.m. – Van and 2 buses will start transporting Leg 3 runners (and parents/guardians of junior racers) up Ester Dome; carefully consider when to take the shuttle to limit wait time for your Leg 2 runner to arrive (and bring spare clothes). These shuttles will run continuously until 2 p.m. for Leg 3 runners going up to Ester Dome exchange zone and Leg 2 runners going down to Goldstream Sports or back to the SRC. - SHOWERS
The locker rooms in the basement of the Patty Center adjacent to the SRC will be available for free showers Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. - AWARDS CEREMONIES
– 1 p.m. – Brief ceremony outdoors at finish area for podium winners
– 5:30 p.m. – Evening awards ceremony at SRC for podium, age group winners, relay winners, door prizes and more! Includes complimentary pizza, dessert & beverages sponsored by Odom Corp. and Black Spruce Brewing Co.
