In the summer of 2011, the Equinox Marathon Advisory Committee adopted a policy whereby past winners of the Equinox Marathon (not the relay) would be granted free entry for as long as they wanted to participate in the Equinox Marathon.

To enter the marathon you will need a special coupon code to get your free entry. We don’t send the code automatically, so you’ll need to request it. Please go to the Contact Us page on this site, and send an message to the race director. In response you will receive an email telling you how to enter.  We are requesting that all past champions enter at least four days before the race–before bib pickup starts–so that bib pickup is not quite so hectic.

There is no charge to enter the marathon for past champions.
