In the summer of 2011, the Equinox Marathon Advisory Committee adopted a policy whereby past winners of the Equinox Marathon (not the relay) would be granted free entry for as long as they wanted to participate in the Equinox Marathon.

To enter the marathon you will need a special coupon code to get your free entry. We don’t send the code automatically, so you’ll need to request it my emailing race director Matias Saari at equinox@runningclubnorth.org. In response you will receive an email with instructions for entering.  We are requesting that all past champions enter at least four days before the race — before bib pickup starts.

There is no charge to enter the marathon for past champions. If a past champion wishes to participate in the relay they must pay the entry fee.
